Linguine with creamy carrots & scallions sauce served with grilled chicken breasts

It is spring break for my daughter so I prefer to keep it calm and easy. It was a week dedicated mostly to my daughters except a workshop and this recipe. I used to cook it for friends and family years ago. I remember them asking me the recipe. Sure they still enjoy this recipe. Hope you will enjoy it as well.
